    Instructor: Laura Tambosso

    Laura graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2015. Prior to completing her physiotherapy education, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University in 2013. Laura has worked In various PT settings including medical acute care, inpatient rehab, and orthopedic and neurological private practice.

    Most recently Laura has spent time developing her clinical expertise in treating individual’s with neurological dysfunction including stroke, brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s Disease, in addition to assessing and treating complex injury post motor vehicle accident within the community.

    She has developed a special interest and passion for treating those individuals with neurological impairments and has furthered her knowledge in this area of practice by taking Neurodevelopmental Theory (NDT) and Bobath courses.

    Laura is passionate about playing the role of an educator in the clinical environment. She finds great benefit in assisting patients to fully understand their conditions and treatment plans to further engage them in their own care.

    Instructor: Karli Vanderlaan

    Karli is a physiotherapist working in private practice orthopaedics in Hamilton, Ontario. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Masters of Physical Therapy program.

    Karli is a past student of PT Exam Prep - and used the written and OCE courses to pass her national exams! She is passionate about helping other hopeful physiotherapy candidates realize their full potential and pass their exams. One of Karli's strengths is her ability to help students improve their clinical reasoning skills.

    When not in the clinic, Karli can be found in the gym, coaching group fitness at F45, baking sourdough bread or spending time with loved ones. Karli is excited to work with you to achieve your goal of becoming a fully licensed physiotherapist in Canada!

    Jamie graduated from the University of British Columbia with her Masters in Physiotherapy. She currently works in a private practice clinic with various populations, from athletes to patients with work and motor vehicle related injuries. She is also working at Vancouver General Hospital in the acute medicine field. Jamie has also done a variety of research projects with Nike, Worksafe BC and the Allan McGavin Sports Medicine clinic. She continues to appreciate and desire to use andadvanced evidence based practice.

    She recently discovered her passion for teaching while having her first student and hopes to continue her teaching passion working with PT Exam Prep. The feedback from her first student highly recommended she consider teaching and so as this opportunity came up to join the team she could not say no. In addition to English, Jamie is also fluent in conversation Mandarin and Cantonese. Outside of physiotherapy Jamie enjoys traveling, teaching Zumba and dance, and playing/watching sports.

     

    This course is good for students preparing for the July, August or September 2025 written exam
